Common Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most from veterans considering our programs

Does this really cost me nothing?

Yes. All training, housing, and support services are provided at no cost to you. We're funded by donors and partners who want to support veterans.

How long does the program take?

Most programs take 6–18 months depending on the certification or degree you're pursuing. We work with your timeline and goals.

Can I work while in the program?

We recommend focusing on training full-time for best results, but we'll work with your situation. Housing support helps reduce financial pressure.

What if I have a family?

We support veterans with families and will work to accommodate your needs whenever possible, including family housing options.

Do I have to relocate?

Not necessarily. We have online training options and work with local schools in your area. Housing is available if you need it.

What if I don't know what career I want?

That's okay! Our counselors will help you explore options based on your interests, skills, and the job market to find the right fit.
