House of Valor Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between military service and civilian success. We provide comprehensive job and career training to help transitioning and transitioned military personnel become self-sufficient citizens with meaningful career options.
Through scholarships, specialized training, housing assistance, and transitional services, we ensure veterans have the support they need to succeed in civilian life. Everything we provide is at no cost to the veteran. Ever.

From application to employment — here's what to expect
Submit a simple online application (10–15 min), then have a brief phone screening with our team to discuss your goals.
Meet in person with a counselor (45–60 min) to discuss training options, timeline, and answer all your questions.
Work with your counselor to choose your training program and create a personalized timeline. We start within 1–2 weeks.
Begin classes, move into housing if needed, and receive one-on-one support including tutoring, mentorship, and counseling.
Complete your certification or degree program (6–18 months). We cover all costs including exam fees and materials.
Get resume help, interview coaching, salary negotiation support, and direct connections to employers who want to hire veterans.

Yes. All training, housing, and support services are provided at no cost to you. We're funded by donors and partners who want to support veterans.
Most programs take 6–18 months depending on the certification or degree you're pursuing. We work with your timeline and goals.
We recommend focusing on training full-time for best results, but we'll work with your situation. Housing support helps reduce financial pressure.
We support veterans with families and will work to accommodate your needs whenever possible, including family housing options.
Not necessarily. We have online training options and work with local schools in your area. Housing is available if you need it.
